7 Things You Can Do in Your Business Now to Get It Back on Track?

When you are feeling off track with your business: 

1. Take a break.

You are not going to be able to help anyone if you are burnt out. Take a mental health break and just relax.

2. Review why you do, what you do.

When you came into this business, you had a passion for it. Am I right? Where is that level of passion now? You might just need to remind yourself why it was so important to you in the first place. 

3. Talk to your mentor.

This could just be a mindset problem and if so that is easily rectified when it is acknowledged. If you hide from the problem, guaranteed, it will grow bigger.

4. If you identify a mindset problem what do you do?

There are some effective tools for clearing all limiting beliefs and troublesome emotions. I use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and Matrix Reimprinting. If your mentor is unable to help you clear the issue, talk to someone who can help you really clear it out of the way. You don’t have to struggle with this type of limit anymore.

5. Are you nurturing yourself on a regular basis?

I don’t mean weekly. I mean daily. Even hourly. What are you doing to feed your own ‘soul’? What are you doing to take care of your body? This might sound unimportant, but I promise you these are the two most important aspects of your business.

Be kind to yourself. Are you treating yourself like your very best friend? If not, you need to review the way you speak to yourself. You may need to review how you feel about yourself. Guaranteed, if you are not loving and respecting yourself, you will be giving yourself way too hard a time. How will that serve you? Not at all. How will that serve your business? Not at all.

Being in business is not an easy gig to begin with. Take it easy on yourself. Love yourself, nurture yourself. Take time out to rest and recuperate.

6. Review the feedback you have received from clients or customers.

Keep a file of this that you can review when things get out of balance. Nothing warms the heart more than reading feedback from someone who has been really helped by you and your team.

7. What are you doing to bring balance into life in all areas?

Draw a wagon wheel. On each spoke of the wheel score out of ten how satisfied you feel in every area of your life. Place a cross on the spoke at the level of satisfaction. You may need to add some spokes.

Consider health, fitness, relationship, friendships, work life, community involvement, spiritual self, extended family. You are scoring your satisfaction level. Once you have scored all areas of your life, see what happens when you join the crosses. Is the wheel turning easily, or is it a bit of a rough road?

You can adjust the balance of the wheel by increasing your satisfaction in those areas that did not score very highly.

You can do this. It is up to you.
